::CAT::

CAT is an evolutionary drawing program that allows the user to navigate an aesthetic space, by presenting variations on an aesthetic theme and allowing the user to select their favourites.

Pictures are specified by a genome and are modified by random factors. The program was used in a small scale experiment to see if a common aesthetic preference existed between a group of subjects.

CAT was exhibited at the Big Blip '04, Brighton.
